For many years I have been playing Volleyball on a high level and participated in various half marathons. Again and again, did I get confronted with injuries. In 2012 I had such a pain in my shoulders, that the doctors told me, that I needed surgery on both shoulders. I realised, that this is not an option or me and I was looking for options in order to avoid these operations. A friend of mine suggested that I try Yoga.
Through Yoga did I not only recover my shoulders but also found a balance between body, soul and spirit. In 2014 I set the foundations of my Yoga teachings and did my first Yoga Teacher Training (RYT 200hr) in Mexico. I have been teaching Vinyasa Yoga since August 2014 on a regular basis. In 2018/2019 I participated in a further Yoga Teacher Training in Zurich (RYT 300hr) and will attend another YTT with Carmen Aguilar in Barcelona this summer (RYT 200hr)
My Yoga style
My classes are dynamic and with strength. The alignment and the correct performance of the movements are crucial to me. I give individual feedback and inputs to improve body posture. We continuously work on flexibility and the strengthening of the body.
I teach my classes predominantly in German. Upon request, I also give instructions in English and Spanish.
